  1. I had both the Mondoro Asti and the Concannon Pinot Noir last night. Frankly I was disappointed with both. The asti was very one dimensional and tasted like sweet grape juice. Way too sweet for me. The bubbles seemed to diminish right away too. Not what I expected from a bubbly. The Concannon was like drinking light red colored water. There was nothing there but wisps of smoke from the toasted oak and just a hint of red fruits. You know those fruit flavored waters? That’s what it reminded me of but with less fruit. Maybe a raspberry water bottle that was rescued from a fire. My opinion – for $12-$14 there’s much better out there to drink.

Oh, I enjoy your blog. I’ve linked it up on mine.
