My Tasting Notes -
Nose: honey, floral, petrol/rubber
Taste: apricot, petrol, slate, mineral
Mouthfeel: medium to light body, felt a bit thin
Finish: medium in length – honey flavors lingering
The flavors and aromas were nice, classic for a well aged Riesling. The body was lacking in depth, although it still had nice acidity, the mouthfeel was just a bit light.

I tasted this wine a couple of months ago and have a bottle in my fridge. Just the fact that it’s white from 1981 and enjoyable to drink makes this quite a gem.
I met this guy in the Mosel earlier this year. I thought he was kind of nuts
. But the wines were classic Mosel.
